My Story

Photography has been a life-altering force-to-reckon-with in my life. From a young age, expressing myself through my own eyes. There is something beautiful about capturing a moment to me.  Another great passion of mine growing up, was good ol' Rock N Roll. It still is to this day! The guitar shreds?? The outfits? A Marshall stack?? I mean, come on, how could someone not think that's epic! In 2019 I decided to combine my love of both photography & live music. It’s a beautiful thing how my passion for rock n roll & music as a whole, can be combined with my passion for the sentimental capturing of a moment.

My starting years in the Music Industry were in Winnipeg, MB where I was born & raised. Growing up in the Winnipeg music scene was a pretty fortunate one. It is an incredibly connected, driven and diverse community. I was looking for a new challenge in my life, so I set off to an unfamiliar city, with new people & new opportunities. I moved to Saskatchewan in 2022 to further my career - and I was fortunate enough to do just that.

2022 was a groundbreaking year for me. I got the opportunity to capture photographs at the Mosaic Stadium for the Labour Day Classic & embarked on my first Eastern Canada tour and photographing across the majority of Canadian provinces. My work has been featured in The Winnipeg Free Press, the Quad Town Forum along with multiple publications across Canada and the USA.

In the summer of 2023, I decided to create a publication of my own - Nikki That Rocktographer. Which I am sure, is how you ended up here! The goal for this project is to promote sick artists, no matter the follower count or the like count. Art is meant to be shared. I'm here to share your stories. I am here to help your visions come to life. Let's make some art.
